Can you give me a quote over the phone?

Yes, we would be more than happy to quote you prices over the phone, text or via email. These are estimates based on the information you give us. Additionally, if you have a picture of the gown we can provide a more accurate quote.

What is your turn around time?

During the busy season we have a 6-8 week turnaround.

Typically, we have a turn around of 4-6 weeks on wedding gowns. Your seamstress will set up your drop off appointment with you at your first fitting.

Do you do rushes? How much do you charge?

Yes, we occasionally do, but this is based on availability only, so please call us. Rush fees may be assessed on the amount of work needed and time constraints.

How far in advance should I make my appointment?

We recommend that you contact us at least 3-6 months before your event to book an appointment.

How long does an alteration appointment take?

For wedding gowns the average appointment takes about 1 hour -1 1/2 hours. For bridesmaids about 30 minutes.

What is a bustle?

A bustle is a way to gather the train of the gown off the floor. All wedding gowns are unique and do not typically come with a bustle already. We offer several styles of bustles and these will be based on the style of your gown and length of the train. Your maid of honor will usually help to bustle your gown before the reception. When we deliver your gown, we will teach you how to bustle your gown.

Can you cut the train off of a wedding gown, the store where I purchased it said they could only do a bustle?

Yes, we are able to cut the train. Most bridal shops decline this type of alteration and would rather have you pay for the bustle. We will pin your gown completely around the entire dress and make recommendations regarding the length based on the style of your gown.
